Privacy Policy

• Phone number — for sign-in via one-time password (OTP).
• Face & skin photos (Face Data) — submitted for analysis; stored against your account to power your skin diary and before/after progress tracking.
• Skin-analysis results — cosmetic scores and summaries derived from your photos.
• Routine, reminders & usage activity — to run the app and improve it.
• Device & diagnostic data — for crash reporting and performance analytics.

• To analyse your selfie for cosmetic attributes and show progress over time.
• To generate routines, reminders, and personalised (non-medical) guidance.
• To authenticate you and secure your account.
• To monitor reliability and improve the App.

We ask for your explicit consent before your first skin scan. You may withdraw consent and delete your photos at any time from within the App.

We share data only with service providers who help us run RAE, under contract. We confirm that any third party we share data with provides the same or equal protection of user data as stated in this policy:

• AI analysis (Google Gemini) — We send your face photos and chat queries to Google Gemini strictly for cosmetic photo analysis and chat responses.
• Cloud hosting (DigitalOcean) — Secure cloud infrastructure where your photos and data are securely stored.
• SMS / OTP delivery — SMS delivery services.
• Push notifications, crash reporting & analytics — Analytics and crash reporting tools.
• Subscription management — Subscription management services.

We keep your photos and history for as long as your account is active so your progress timeline works. You can delete individual scans, or your entire account (via Account > Settings > Delete account) and all associated data, from within the App. On account deletion we deactivate your account and schedule the removal of your personal data except where retention is legally required.

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the sensitivity of skin photos.

• Access, correct, and erase your personal data.
• Withdraw consent (e.g., for photo processing).

RAE is not intended for children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.

RAE provides cosmetic guidance only and is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition. For medical concerns, consult a qualified dermatologist or physician.

We may update this policy and will post the new "Last updated" date here. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
